Privacy policy

TrustDude is a public directory. There are no member accounts on the front site. We collect as little as we can and we do not sell a visitor list.

Who this covers

This policy is for people who browse TrustDude, use search, open a review, or write to the desk. It is not the privacy policy of CamSoda, Chaturbate, or any other listed platform. Those sites start when you leave ours.

What we collect

Pages you open

Like most websites, the server can see the usual request data: page URL, approximate time, browser type, and a coarse network address. We use that to keep the site up and to see which reviews are actually read. We do not build a public profile of you.

Age-confirm cookie

If you confirm you are 18 or older, the browser can store a first-party cookie so the prompt does not return every visit. It is an adult-gate flag, not an advertising ID. Clearing cookies brings the prompt back. See RTA.

Search and filters

Search queries and Free / Paid filters can appear in the URL and in server logs. Do not put passwords or personal ID into the search box. It is a directory search, not a login.

Email

If you write desk@trustdude.com, we keep the message long enough to reply and to correct a listing. We do not add you to a newsletter unless you asked for one — and we do not run a blast list today.

What we do not collect

  • No public user accounts, usernames, or community profiles.
  • No payment card data. We do not charge you to read a review.
  • No upload of your ID to “verify” a star rating.

Outbound links

Visit Site can be an affiliate link. The destination site will set its own cookies and ask for its own data. Read their privacy policy before you create an account there. Our disclaimer covers the commission.

Admin area

The editor console at /admin is not a public product. It is signed in by the desk. That login is separate from anything you do on the directory.

How long we keep things

Server logs are kept only as long as we need them for uptime and abuse. Editorial email is kept while a correction is open, then it is not a marketing file. The age-gate cookie can last up to a year unless you delete it.

Your choices

  • Use the under-18 exit on the age gate if you should not be here.
  • Block or clear cookies in your browser if you do not want the age flag stored.
  • Ask us to delete an email you sent: contact.

Changes

If this policy changes in a material way, we will update this page. The terms and FAQ should be read with it.
